Itzik HAROSH, founder of the Company, is the inventor of both patents now owned by the company and has a well-established international reputation. Dr HAROSH has a wide experience in drug discovery vision, target identification and validation, assay developments adaptable for HTS, secondary screenings and animal model. In addition, he has expertise in Obesity, Diabetes and Lipidemia. Dr Harosh did his PhD at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel. After completing his thesis, he spent four years of post-doctoral study in Stanford University and Davis University both in California working on DNA repair. After his post-doctoral, he joined the laboratory of Miroslav Radman (CNRS) with a "poste rouge" fellowship and worked on mismatch repair. From there he joined the GlaxoWelcome laboratories in Les Ullis, France, as a group leader and worked on cardiovascular disease and lipid metabolism. He was teaching a new course entitled Drug Discovery in Modern Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Industry that he created specially for graduate students in the Technion, Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel. | | | | | | | | | | Sandrine BRAUD, PhD, COO & Scientific Director. She did her PhD at the Pasteur Institute in Paris (2000). After completing her first post-doctoral training at the Department of Biotechnology in Pasteur Institute, she did a second post-doc at the Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique (CEA of Saclay). She has in depth knowledge in molecular biology, and experience in biochemistry. In ObeTherapy, she is in charge for the lead optimisation on the anti-obesity program. Véronique Chagué, PhD, Project Leader. She did her PhD in molecular and cellular biology at University Paris-Sud (Orsay, France) within a CIFRE framework. She carried out postdoctoral researches at Haifa University (Israel) and at the Weizmann institute of Sciences (Rehovot, Israel) and held a research-associate position at Tel-Aviv University (Israel). Then, she moved back to France and worked at the Plant Genomics Research of INRA (URGV, Evry, France). Her scientific interests cover genetics, genomics and transcriptomics on different living systems. At Obetherapy, she is in charge of developping anti-obesity programs. | | | |
