Genopole® : Involvement in the growing genomics sector in France.

Genopole® is an initiative funded by public and private capital that aims to bring together expertise in genetics, genomics and post-genomics, and high level university teaching, with the objective to promote the creation of new biotechnology enterprises.
Genopole® manages a large multidisciplinary research center in the city of Evry, France, approximately 35 km/22 mi South of Paris. This facility houses a select group of invited member companies and provides them with an excellent infrastructure, such as laboratory and office space, as well as assistance in raising capital and establishing strategic partnerships.
Genopole® favors the development of new biotech products with application in medicine, agronomy, and environmental science. To do so, it relies heavily on the latest developments in robotics, micro and nanotechnologies, as well as information technologies.
